A bottle holds 60 capsules and is sold as a 30-day supply, which is 2 a day multiplied out: 60 days, 90 days and 180 days of capsules. The per-day column is the price of a bottle spread over those 30 days, and it is the figure that compares the three packs on equal terms: $2.63, $2.30 and $1.63. The serving to follow is the one printed on the bottle you receive.
The comparison that decides the order, though, is between the length of a pack and the length of the refund window. Both clocks start on the day you pay and they stop on different days.
The 2-bottle pack is 60 days of capsules against a 60-day window. You finish the second bottle at about the point the window closes — the order is judged on a complete run, and nothing is left in the box either way.
The 3-bottle pack is 90 days. The window shuts with roughly 30 days of capsules still in hand, and that spare month is why this is the count this desk suggests: the wait buyers describe, four to eight weeks, sits inside the window, so the decision is made on a full run rather than on a first impression.
The 6-bottle pack is 180 days. On day 60, 4 of the 6 bottles have not been opened — two thirds of what you paid for is still sealed at the moment the decision has to be made. After that day the remaining 120 days are yours whatever you make of them.
That is a deadline rather than a loss. The seller’s statement accepts “even empty bottles”, so a 6-bottle order posted back inside the window is refunded in full “less shipping and handling”, sealed and opened bottles alike. What the biggest pack buys is the lowest price a bottle and a decision point that arrives a third of the way through the supply.
Both clocks run from the purchase date rather than the delivery date, so the days in transit come out of the window rather than out of the supply. Counting your own 60 days is the arithmetic that follows.
The 6-bottle order carries the lowest price a bottle on this page and it is also the order this desk earns most on. Three is the count suggested above, and the reason is the window rather than the margin.
